Civic Theatre

Paulette Goddard and Macdonald Carey are co-starred in Paramount's new comedy ,"Hazard," which arrives on Tuesday at the Civic Theatre, with a supporting cast that includes Pred Clark and Stanley Clements. Miss Goddard has the role of a society girl who is heavily in debt to Clark, tough gambling king wno wants'to rrtarry her. Clark gives her a charice to wipe out her debt with the cut of a card. If she wins, they *are even; if she loses, she marries him. Paulette loses, but runs away. Clark hires private detective Macdonald Carey to bring her back, and Paulette1 leads him a merry chase. What happens when he catches up with her is said to make "Hazard" a riot of laughs, adventure and romance.
