AMMUNITION DUMP EXPLODES
Received Sundav, 7 p.m. BERLIX, July 16. When an underground ammunition dump exploded just outside Pruem in the French Zone of Germany last night, five were killed when the town's hospital collapsed. Others died in the streets after being hit by flying bricks and explodiug aminunitibn. It is estimated that a quarter of the town's buildings were destroved or " damaged. About 1000 people lost their homes. Pruem resembles tlfe ruined target of ' an air raid, so great was the force of the.blast.
