Coal Up Another 2s 6d a Ton

O AUCKLAND, July 14. A further increase of 2s 6d a ton in the price of coal has been authorised by the Price Tribunal. This is in addition to a similar increase authoi'ised last month following the wages increases granted to employees in the mines. "The new increase follows the rise in wages of yardmen, drivers and clericai workers connected with coal after it leaves the mines," said Mr. R. C. Aickin, president of the Auckland Coal Dealers' Association.
