Support For Yes Vote At Referendum

MASTERTON, July 14. At a well-attended public meeting in Masterton last night on the military training referendum, a motion was passed unanimously affirming whole-hearted ' support for a Yes vote at the referendum. It also requested the Prime Minister to see that there were no exemptions when young men were called up, and that in that event a man should do a form of service. The cMirman, Mr. !W. Kemp, Mayor of Masterton, said: "If they cannot use a gun they. can use a bucket." 7 •
