Negligent Driving Charge Dismissed
MASTERTON, July 12. Hugo Nicol, a 'farmer, of Carterton, was charged in the Magistrate's Court, Carterton, yeste"rday with having driven negligently, causing death. The charge arose from an accident in Belvedere Road, Carterton, on the night of June 1, which resulted in the death of Leslie Mervyn Archer. After a hearing lasting all day, three justices on the Bench dismissed the charge.
