Borough Traffic Control
In- his, monthly report to the Shaiinon Borough Council, Inspector Boyes, the district traffic in- ■ spector, referred to assistance given in parking and control of the increased traffic during the schocl and football jubilees last month. The parking -of vehicles was carried out very well and all motorisjfcs co-opexated ahd were well behav'ed in driving habits. The inspector also referred to the valued assistance given by the local Automobile Associatibn patrol officer, who was also in attendance. : A general patrpl had; "been. carried out over the district and no , accidenits -had been.brought to his notice, said ' the ; inspector. During ' the month four drivers over 70 years of age were tested, and three car and two heavy trade motor drivers and one motor cyclist were * tested. All applicants successfully passed their tests. The standard of 'driving was good in all cases. ; One applicant was requested to , come up for a test after he had ; obtained a warrant of fitness for ihis vehicle.
