CHIANG IN PHILIPPINES
Received Sundav, 7 p.m. MANILA,- July. 10;i. Chiang Kai-shek is reported to' have arrived by plane today foi* secret conference with President Quirino. There is no oflicial confirmation of the report but it is believed Chiang will confer with Quirino at Baguio. There is speculation that they will disouss an anti-Communist alliance in the Pa^ciflc and seek refuge for the gold and Government of Nat-ionalist China if Formosa should become untenable. President Quirino is already at Baguio where he conferred last night With Chen Chin Pingj Chinese JMinister to the Philippines.
