Received Monday, 10.20 a.m. ISTANBUL, July 10. , Fifty-nine persons were lcilled, 14 are missing- and 35 were seriously injured in ali explosion which wrecked the 5000-ton Turkish passenger ship Corum in Istanbul Harbour, according to figures given out by the Istanbul police today. s Immediately after the explosion, which occurred as the ship was about to leave Istanbul for the Black Sea, huge flames shot out of the hold. The vessel is said to have had a cargo of chemicals. She was carrying about 800 passengers, of whom 300 were in the part of the ship where the explosion took place.
