At the Otaki Band's card evening, held fn the Druids' Hall on Tuesday night, the usual very satisfactory attendance was seen. Prize-winners were Miss L. Frederickson, Mesdames.G. Jorey and R. Mather, and Messrs H. Cole and D. Dinnison. Vital Statistics. The registrar, Mr. C. G. Anderson, advises that eight European births were notified during the month of June, and also two Maori deaths, while three marriage notices were issued. For the quarter ending June 30, 29 European and nine Maori births were notified, together with three Maori deaths, while 12 marriage notices were issued.
