CHRISTCHURCH, July 5. The referendum will be held on Wednesday, August 3, but it is expected that niost of the members will be anxious to be in their own electorates several days before the holding of the poll. This being so, it is expected that the House will adjourn on Friday* July 29, and nojt reassembie until Tuesday, August 9. Ordinarily, the House would reconvene on Tuesday, August 2, at 2.30 p.m.
