Annual W.I. Drama Festival Approaches
Always of considerable interest to residents of Levin and district, the annual drama festival cbnducted by the Southern Wellington Federation of Women's Institutes will be held this year at Tawa Flat on -July 11 and 14, and in the College Hall, Levin, on July 16. Three plays will be staged at each session — one drama and two comedies. Mr. R. S: Allwright, the adjudicator, whiie new to Levin a.udiences, , is very well - known in drama ci-rcles in Wellington and his criticisms should prove not onlyof benefit beattie players, but of interest to -the audiences as well. The first play commences at 7.45 p.m., and to enahle pa.trons tp be| seated in good time the doors will
open at 7 p.m. The doors will" be kept strictly closed during the performance of each play. By the courtesy of 'Mr. W. C. Stannard, seats may be reserved at his bookshop in Oxford Street. . Admission is :2s with a booking fee of 3d.
