. A i,arge yarding of good quality fat sheep and a medium yarding-' of store sheep was offered at yescerday's sale in Levin. Fat catt e and dairy stock were in average suppiy, and fat aird store pigs were still iri short suppiy. The . feature of the sale was a sharp rise in all classes of fat sheep, bringing values on a par with recent top country saies. A good sale resutlted?«tfetoughout, there be^ ing praetically a total clearance. Quotations ranged as follows;— Fat sheep: Medium fat wethers, £2 11s 4d to £2 12s ld; heavier do., £2 14s lOd to £2 18s 10d;, extra prime heavy do., to £2 19s lOd; prime ewes, £2 Os ld, £2 Os 4d to £2 2s ; light fat. lambs, 36s 10d' to 3.7s 7d; medium '4o., 38S' 10s to £2 0s fd; prime heavy do., £2 2s 7d, £2 2S lOd to £2 10s lOd. Store ' sheep : Forward store wethers, £2 7s 9d; medium Romney wether lambs, 38s 3d; B.F. lambs, 32s 3d to 37s 7d; cull lambs, 20s 3d to 21s 9d. Pigs: Medium porkers, £4 8s, £4 10s, £4 14s; heavier do., £5 11s to £6 4s; baconers, £6 10s to £7 7s; choppers, £5 12s 6d to £6 6s.
