A. W. Meikle, part-owner and trajii-: er of Pimlico, and the ridefl, L. V.' Ford, were charged before the judicia' ommittee of the Hawke's Bay Jockey JJub on Saturday with not j'Unning the horse on its merits in the Hawke's Bay Hurdles. Considerabie evidenee was heard and the case was adjourned for further eoilsideration. Pimlico, 5-6 in the bettingj finished a long way back sixth. He was having his first start since the Wellingtomauxn- . mer meeting last January.
