GISBORNE, July 1. Stateme'nts to the e'ffect that the Government had brought down draft proposals for the formation of a Potato Board having ^weeping powers, provoked strong opposition at the annua.1 meeting of the Gisborne. Potato Growers' Assoeiation, aceording to the secretary, Mr. K. J. A. Grarer.'
