WELLINGTON, June 29. More canneS fruit may be imported from Australia under a new import licensing decision announced by the Comptrolier "of Customs (Mr D. G. Sawers). The 1949 allocation for canned fruit, except pineapple, has beeu inereased to the full amounts of the 1948 licenses. Licenses granted for builders' hardware may be used to import sliding dnor gear, track and channel.
