Next Rugby Rep. Team Not Yet Announced

Sole senior rugby selector, Mr. D. J. Oliver, will announce his representative team to play Dannevirke after the coming Saturday. He said this at Tuesday's meeting of the Horowhenua Union's management committee. The committee decided -to accept September 24 for the game with Wanganui, this being the only date suitable to the visiting -team. This date will be subject to confirmation by the New Zealand union. It was also decided that towns such as Foxton and Paraparaumu would receive consideration when , the venue of representative games was decided upon. It was stated, however, that much depended on whether Horowhenua could retain the Bebbington Shiefd. It was also decided that the fixtures committee be asked to draw up a list of future games in order that an up-to-date picture of the position could be obtained.
