WANGANUI, Jnne 22. The New Zealand and North Island dog trial ehampionships concluded here to-day, the short head and yard events being decided. Results: — North Island short head and yard: W. Y. Mclntyre's (Inglewood) Chief, 58i points, 1; P. Gilbert's (Te Awamutu) Ned, 58, 2; F. J. Addis's (Waipawa) Dick 57-J, 3. New Zealand sliort head and yard: F. J. Addis's Dick 112| points 1; a P. Gilbert's Ned 112, 2; R. B. Smith's (Inglewood), Dale, 57, 3.
