Basketball Representatives
The first Horowhenua basketball representative games will be played at Hutt Valiey on Saturday. Two A grade teams and- one B grade team will travel to Wellington to take part. The A1 team will play Hult Valiey A for the Poynton Cup, which was won last year by Hutt Val'ley. ^ Players are asked to note that only B and C grade basketball games will be p7ayed on Saturday, the remainder of the time being given- to representative trials. The B grade representatives wifi be announced at the end of the play on Saturday, when those chosen for trials will be asked to remain for further play. The names" of giris selected' to play in Saturda.y's A grade and C grade trial games appear elsewhere.
