Cricket Score Win For Maori All Blacks

' • MP-*— ■ — ORANGE, June 22. The Maoris defeated Combined Central at Rugby today, "by 51 points to 5.' It was "bitterly cold in the morning and Orange was partly snow covered*. The Maoris spent most of their spare time searching tne stores for woollen gloves. The match was one-sided. The Maoris played nonchalantly and at half speed only. A noteworthy fqature, apart from scoring ability, was the perfect handling of the feacks. Their opponents had little appreciation of tactical play and played mostly individual foofball. The Maoris were completely disinter- ' ested after setting a 27 — 0 lead to half-time and scored at will. The match served as a mere training run for the Maoris.
