Meeting of Levin W.D.F.F.
The June meeting of the Levin branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers, held recently, wqs presided over by Mrs. C. Bartholomew, who welcomed all mem* bers and visitors. Mesdames Rolston, Myers and Walther, an'd the Misses Atack, wero welcomed as new members. Three members volunteered to pack apd se.nd food parcels to Britain. Mrs. Osborne, delegate to the provincial executive, read the report of a meeting held recehtly, Mrs: Bartholomew then gave a ta7k on the work of the division's housekeeper scheme for the benefit of new members, arrd her talk was brought to a clo.se with humorous incidents in fhe early days of the bush nurse and housekeeper scheme. The hostesses, Mesdames Scott, Geange and Stack and Miss Selby, served afternoon. tfea.
