Big Hockey Game Tomorrow
An important event on the hockey caiendar will be the match to take place tomorrow at the Otaki Domain, When Horowhenua will meet Wellington, and it is anticipated that supporters will turn oufc in big numbers. The big game is set down for 3 p.m., with two.ladies' teams,. Rahui and Textiles (Foxton >v providing a curtain raiser at 1.45 p'.m. Horowhenua did not show to advantage in the reeent match against Wanganui at Kimberley, suffering defeat by four goa's to nil, and the selectors have seen fit to make several changes. Rahui have recently iorced themselves into the selectors' eyes with several convincing displays and, with the former champions, Te Horo, claim four players in the representative side. Te Horo and Rahui thus have four each, with Levin two, and Levin Co ts one. and no secret is made of the fact that the visitors will not be expected to have things all their own way. One thing seems certain, given a reasonably fine day and a good ■ ground, the match will be fast and keenly contes'ed. - Congratulations are extended'to Ray Eagle, a fair'y young Rahui player, on his being selected to lead the Horowhenua' side..
