Salvation Army Anniversary

• ine Salvation. Army s 59th anniversary services will be conducted on Sunday. by Colonel George Marshall and Mrs. Marshall in the Salvation Hall, Bath Street, Levin. Colonel and Mrs. Marshall came from America just over two years ago, appointed by the General to be chief secretary for New Zealand. He is a man of wide experience, a fluent speaker and a splendid administrator, whose chief delight is in being an evangelist. Colonel and Mrs. Marshall will be supported by the Salvation Army band from Upper Hutt. The morning meeting will be devotional and in the afternoon a dedication service will precede a musical " programme. At 7 p.m. a thanksgiving meeting will be held.
