This year the Horowhenua representative basketbafi teams wi I play matche's agalnst Hutt Valley at Hutt Valley and Te Kawau at Oroua Downs. A team has also been entered in the secon-d grade in the New Zealand tournament, to be held this year at Dunedin, and another team wiri travel to Rotorua to play in the annual tournament there. Selectors have already begun to single out promising players from all grades, and trials will be held shortly. *
