Below appear the fixtures for games in the various sports competitions to be played throughout the Horowhenua district this weekend. Indoor Basketball. Players of the foxlowing teams are to assemble at the Levin Trainmg Centre on Sunday to play the games set down, the names of the referees and starting times also being given: — Men: Centre B v. Old Boys, at 2 p.m., Mr. Sciascia and Miss Matuich; Shamrocks v. College, at 2.30 p.m., Mr. Juno and Miss Batten; Centre A v. Wanderers, at 3 p.m., Mr. Norton and Miss Matulich. Ladies: Punahau v. Coliege A, at 2.15 p.m., Mr. Juno and Miss Batten; Combined v. Col'ege B, at 2.45 p.m., Messrs Sciascia and Norton. Rugby Football. The Horowhenua rugby championships will be continued on Saturday with the following games, their venue and referees also being given: — Senior, all at 2.45 p.m.: Athletic v. Otaki, at Levin Domain, Mr. Elvidge; Foxton v. Rahui, at Otaki, Mr. Vertongen; Wanderers v. Hui Mai, at Manakau, Mr. Chainey; Shannon v. Paraparaumu, at Paraparaumu, Mr. Aitchison. Junior: Hui Mai v. Shannon, Shannon at 2.45 p.m., Mr. Johnson; Awahau v. Punahau, Foxton at 2.30 p.m., Mr. McMillan; Tokomaru v. Wanderers, Rugby Park at 2.45 p.m., Mr. Sayer; Waikanae v. Rahui, Otaki at 1.15 p.m., Mr. Zuppicich. Third grade, all at 1.15 p.m.: Hui Mai v. Old Boys, at Manakau, 'Mr. Woseley; Athletic v. Otaki, at Levin Domain, Mr. Graham; Foxton v. Shannon, at Shannon, Mr. Carew. Fourth grade, all at 1.15 p.m.: Wanderers v. Shannon, at Rugby. Park, Mr. Martin; College A v. College B, Mr. Bowers; Foxton v. lege B, Court 1, Miss Cowin; College A v. K.B.H., Court 3, Miss Prouse; Wanderers v. Tui A, Court 2, Miss Hills. Teams are asked to note that some A grade teams will play two games. Each Saturday some teams will play twice to make up for the loss of play during wet "Saturdays. Misses Cowin, Hills, Prouse and Hocking, and Messrs De Cassro and Bell, will be selecting players for the A, B and C. representative teams.
