Screening on. Tues'day and Wpdnesday at the Civic Theatre is "Captain Boycott," starring Stewart Granger, Kathleen Ryan, Alastair Sim. Witty observation in dialogue, beautifully-sketched minor characters, and 'the camera's delight in Irish landscapes offer much in this entertaining film of Mayo's novel revolt in 1880 against the tyrant landlord, Captain Boycott. The film is so rich with humour and director Frank Launder's touch is light and friendly.
