LONDON, June 19. Experiments which have been in progress in Britain and the TJnited States ninee the end of the war to produce an efficient meChanical "brain" have been successfully eompleted at Manchester ITniversitv, says the Times. For the first time a machine has been brought to the point at which it can work out problems which it is praeticallv impossible to execute on paper. The "brain" has just eompleted, in a matter of weeks, a problem which was started in the 17th century and is only just being eompleted by human calculation.
