XEW YOPK, June 9. The Chinese Xationalists todav | evaeuated Kanchow as Communist j troops drove to within 45 jniles of the j Kwangtong Provinee border. Kanchow j is 225 miles north-west of Canton and the site of China 's biggest wolfran: deposits. The Xationalist Governinent, mea.nwhile, began fiying its personnel to Chungking from threatened Canton. The Provincial Governinent" is also reported to be beginning to evacuate Kanchow whereto it tled follow ing the Comniunist capture of X'anehang.
