Scout Committee Discusses Transfer
At a recent meeting of the Flrst Otaki Boy Scou'; Troup Committee presided over by Mr. F. Rule, guests in attendance were Mrs. S. Hoggard, of Paraparaumu, and Mr. V. E. Hudson,- District* Scout Commissioner, of Levin. * The chief discussion centred round correspondence from Dominion headquarters regarding Otaki's proposal to transfer from the Wellington Co the Horowhenua district. It was decided to make formal application to have the transfer recorded. This and other matters of importance to parents and •, the troop will be considered at the 'annual meeting on June 14, at .which a good attendance of pareiits is anticipated. The resignation of Mr. J. Mirer as scoutmaster was tendered and received by the. meeting.
