Grapp'er ran 26 secs. and succeeded in lowering the track record preViously he^d by Beauvallet, owned by Mr. Sam Wylie, Otaki. Lucky Helen, who did not race with her usual dash, could on'y get second for her . Otaki owner, Miss Phyllis Brune'i, in the novice hurdles. The limit hurdles saw Master Luna, who h?s suffered injuries at different stages this season, register a very good second for Mr. A. Brooks. Disdain was third, but should soon . make amends for his owner, Mr. R. Booth. Bos1 on City won the consolation in a very convincing sty e for his young owner, Mr. Roy Co lis. A beautiful trophy was attached to this event, which had to be re-run, and Bolton City had to win twice before receiving the verdic . Local owners 1ook forwerd to shaving in the spoils again at the next' Foxton meeting on June 18.
