Problems arising out of the renorations to the Regent Hall were Fscussed aL a meeting of the Levin .Borough Council on Wednesday It was decided that the new stage would be semi-circular and in tw 'iplves so that they could be eaoi7y separated and arranged according .0 the needs of those using the hal*.. It was also recommended that the two parts be mounted on sma'l solid rubber casters to make foi ^asier handiing. Cr. A. W. Parton expressed ccn^ern at the present layout of .the nen's and women's cloakrooms, stating that he did not like the vomen's cloakroom having immediite access from the hall.- -He thought it wouid be much wiser tc have an entrance from the staircase, even if a nortion of the mems clokkroom was used to partition aff a small passageway. The provision of storage space for sports bodies using tlie ha'l and the construction of a coat and hat xlcove in the supper room were a'so iiscussed by the council. There seemed no alternative Put to remove the paper completely from all the wa'ls. The overseer, Mr. E.
