Additional Constable Posted To Levin
As the result of direct representation to the Commissioner of Police by the Commissioner of Burdekin, an additional constable has been posted to the Levin Police Station. He is Constable CL A, King, of Central Police Station, Wellington, and he took up his duties yesterday. At the meeting of the Levin Borough Council last night, the Mayor said that the appointment of a fourth member to the force at Levin was an important step in the civic life of the town. It was most necessary to have an adequate police force.
