Jones, Ballance Street. ; Mr. Lloyd Croon and Mrs. Irene Robertson (nee Jay) were staying with Mr, and Mrs. W. Frizzell, Wilton Street, Levin, for the Shannon School jubilee celebrations. Further visitors to Shannon over the King's Birthday weekend to attend the jubilees of t'he school and football elub were:— Mrs. Hu'dson, Auckland, who was the guest of her sister, Mrs. . Cave, Kingston Road; Mr. and Mrs. Nansett, the guests of Mrs. M. Curran; Mr. Lloyd Croon, Auckland, and Mr. J. R. McKinlay and Mrs. and Miss Saxon, guests of Mrs. J. A. Easton-; Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bowler were hosts to other members of the Saxon family; Mr. S. J. Harris was the guest of Mrs. Marshall, Stout Street; Mr. and Mrs. D. Smith were with Mr. an'd Mrs. W. Bain; Mr. C. Haley, Miss R. 'Haley and Mr. W. Carlyle were Mr. and Mrs. F. Haley's guests at Newtown; Messrs R. C. Cassey, A. Cassey, Jnr.,- and A. Cassey, Snr., were the -guests of Mr. and Mrs. K. Mitchell, East Road.
