First Prize In Art Union To Petone
WELLINGTON, June 8. The first prize of £2000 in the "One for Mother" art union, drawn at Wellington this morning, was won bv ticket 108811, held under the nom-de-plume of "Frank's Mum with Love," Petone. The other principal nrizes were won as follows: — Sebond prize, £500: 23366, "One Pound," Cambridge. Third prize, £250: 103252, "Mere Meha," Te Awamutu. Fourth prize, £150: 168240, "Rangitihi, " Dunedin. Fifth prize, £100; 27667, "John and Shirley," Napier.
