Pretty Te Horo Wedding
A pretty wedding took place recentiy at St. Margareu's Cnurch, Te Horo, when Margaret Fay, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Guthrie, of Te Teko,' was -married to William Howell, third son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Walker, of "Reomoana," Te Horo. Canon H. E. K. Fry officiated. Ihe bride, who entered the church escorted by her father, looked lovely in a graceful gown of embroidered cloque, her long veil of embroidered tulie being held in place by a tatted head dress. She carried a very beahtiful bouquet of Easter lilies. Attending the bride was her sister Mauieeii, whd wore a picture frock of figured apricot net over taffeta. The neckline was outlined with a frill, as was the hemline. She also -wore,-. a head dress of flowers; -"apid'cpf ,t)0ned> kaadv;'earried a matching bouquet. Mr. Grahame Walker, brother of the grooin, was best'-irian. As the bride left the church, which had been beautifully decorated by friends, she was presented with a horse shoe by her small cousin. Mrs. H. '--Guthrie, in a hlue suit with wine accessories, and Mrs. ! C. Walker, in a blaek suit, received the guests at a reception held in the Te Horo Hall.
