RAHUI FOURTHS ECLIPSE PARAPARAUMU
Paraparaumu fourths took the field two piayers short at Otaki on Saturday and, with one of their number having to retire through injury later, they at times played tweRe men, far too big a handicap to concede the highly promising Rahui fourth grade team, unbeaten to date. Paraparaumu turned out a tine of backs that showed excellent promise, and S. Howeil, S% Sweetiman, Fairly, Thomson and° Clunie lalways "gave it a go," and dejserved a better fate. Rahui gave their usual impressive disp.ay. Tries were scored in the first half by B. Connolly, C. Wi ton and T. Waldrom, Des. Smith converting one and kicking a penalty also. D. Thomson kicked a penalvy for Paraparaumu. In the second half S. Fox; I. Mudge, D. Smith, T. Waldrom 1 and Connolly scored tries, A, Morgan converting two. Mr. Gurney was the referee.
