Air Crash Inquiry To Be Re-opened

WELLINGTON, June 2. The inquiry into the loss of the National Airways Corporation Lockheed Kereru near Paraparaumu on Mareh 18, will be reopened in Wellington on July 4, This deeision was announeed today b'y the Board of Inquiry which consists of Judge Stilwell, Group Captain W. C. Sheen and Mr. R. A. Kirkup, The announcement says the board, which concluded its sittings on May 20, and reserved its decision, today held a sitting in chambers with counsel and representatives of the Air Line Pilots Association, arising- from subniissions of a technical nature tendered by counsei for the Air Department, Mr. \V. H. Cunningham, and "which miglit possibly have some bearing on tlie cause of the accident or otherwise within the province of the inquiry." The board invites persons who may be able to give further evidence relative to th;j accident, to do so when the inquiry reopens. ^
