Wholesale Arrest Of Reds In Japan
Received Wednesdav, 7 p.m. TOKIO, Jtme 1. Sixty-five Communist and Left-Wing demonstrators arrested by the Tolcio police last night, will be handed over to the United States Military Courts for trial, the Japanese police annouoeed today. This will be the biggest trial thus f'ar during the ocnupation, of Japanese nationaL eharged with disturbing public order. The arrested included the Communist Yasumasa Sato,- chairman of the Government Employees ' Union. Aii autopsy on v Ivinjiro Hashinoto -who fell to his death in the iirst demontration, failed to establish whether death was caused bv a f all or by police blows as the Leftists alleged.
