— i Personal. The friends of Mrs. C. Tremewan^ of Bryce Street, will regret to learn that she had the misfortune to fall and fracture her right arm. The accident happen-ed at her home on Thursday evening. Golf Club Opens. -The Buckley Golf Club successfully opened its 1949 season last weekend, when ideal weather conditions attracted a large gathering of visitors and local members to the links. The opening ceremony was conducted by Mr. J. Chambers and a pairs competition followed. This was won' by Messrs. T. E. Harrison and C. Stem. The links were in excellent order and some good carda were returned.
