Youth Uses Sheath Knife On Another Boy

NEW PLYMOUTH, May 27. A youth who had drawn a lcnife in a fight with another boy appeared before Mr. W. H. Norwood, S.M., at the children 's court, Hawera, today charge d with assault. The boy was playing with other boys among sandhills when during a dirt fight he received some dirt in the mouth. A fight ensued d-uring which the boy drew a sheath knife and wounded another boy in the arm. It was mentioned to the magistrate that several Hawera boys were known to carry sheath knives. In an effort to 8 top the praetiee the magistrate agreed to the publication of the faets of the case.
