In presenting Miss Keddell with a bouauet and a volume of Masefield's works, Mr. Kirkwood wished Miss Keddell a very happy . retirement and trusted her interest in the Otaki Players' would not lapse. Miss Hull, of the Otaki Health Camp, also spoke of ner many years' association with Miss Keddell and wished her a very happy retirement. Miss Keddell, in rep'ying, expressed her great pleasure and satisfaction at the growth and development of the Otaki Players, as evidenced by the excellent readings given that evening. She trusted the foundations laid would enable the group to aVoid the pitfaPs so frequently encountered in. newly-established societies. Her interest in the Otaki Players would continue regardless of where she might eventually settle, and she trusted to be able from time to time to visit them and find continued growth and development. ^
