Civic Theatre
Called Walt Disney's most intriguing screen achievements, exceeding in audience appeal his former feature productions, "Song of the South," in Technicolour, reaches the screen of the Civic Theatre, on Tuesday and Wednesday, as his flrst live-action dramatic musical. Co-ordinating a story enacted by human characters with parallel sequences by animated art characters, the human factor is stressed in a heart interest story. The animated episodes introduce a pictorial treatment of Joel Chandler Harris' Brer Rabbit tales with enchanting effect.
