Rifle Club Holds Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Otaki Miniature Rifle Club, held recently, drew a good attendance. Mr. P. Stocking (presi'dent) , occupied the chair, and several matters of interest were discussed. Thanks were accorded last year's officers by Mr. Stocking, who said that he keenly appreciated the way in which the committee had worked with him in the interests of the club. The hope was expressed that members would take an even greater interest in the club than was the case last season, which ha'd been'a most successful one indeed. Owing to delays being encountered in the building of a rifle range in Otaki, the club is starting the season by shooting on the Hautere range, which has been placed at the Otaki's disposal by the Hautere club. Members expressed their appreciation of the generous gesture by the Hautere club. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — Patron: Mr. W. McBeth; president: Mr. P.
