RAHUI'S THIRD SUCCESSIVE VICTORY
A dour forward struggle was seen in the game at Paraparaumu '^otinued on Page 8)
(Continued from Page 4) on Saturday, when Rahui seniors emerged the victors over Paraparaumu by three penaity goals to an unconverted t-ry. This marked the third win on end for Rahui, and local interest will run high when they meet Hui Mai next Saturday, A se.eond hat trick came their way, as during the game A. Hakaraia had three kicks and put them all over. The hoine side's three points came from a try by Harris, a vigorous forward who, with Beazley, showed to ardvantage. Highlights of the game were the exhibitions given by the two halfbacks, A. Winterburn (Rahui) and J. Ropata (Paraparaumu). Clunie was another Paraparaumu back to impress, while for Rahui J. 'Winterburn4and A. Watts predominated in the forwards, with W. Davis and J. McLeod giving classy displays among the backs. This game marked the reappearance of two stars of last year in Wha,ta Davis and Colin' Taylor. The former acquitted himseif well. but the latter apparently will require a further run or two before showing form comparable with )ast year. Mr. L. G. Sayer was referee.
