-♦ In the absence of the president, Mrs. R. Jenkins, who is visiting Australia with a p.arty of memhers of Federated Farmers and their wives, Mrs. Kilsby was in the chair for the quarterly meeting of the Manawatu provincial -of the wn^ien's Division of Federated Fariners. Members were remind.ed of the inter-provincial conference to be held in Palmerston North on June 17. Mrs. C. Bartholomew, the housekeeper secretary, reported with regret the btoak^down in health pf the 'division's one, and only, housekeeper. One engagement had been fuifilled during the last quarter, she said. A three-minute talk on nursing was given by Mrs. Sutton, of Levin. Mrs. H. McLeavey took the chair for the annual meeting following the luncheon' adjournment. The following officers were elected fpr the year. President: Mrs. R. Jenkins; vice-Rresideiits : Mesdsmes Kilsby and Beiinett; secretarytreasurer: Mrs.g.Clyde Saint; housekeeper secretary: Mrs. C. Bartholomew; delegate to rest home: Mrs. Bartholomew. Mrs. S. Barber reported that "Kianga Moe" was -fully hooked. The garden party heM there recently had been a great success — both financiaJ.lv and socially. The reading of the branch renorts brought the meeting to an end.
