Hope Abandoned For Crew Of Schooner
— Eeceived Thursdav, 7 p.m. XEW YORK, May 18. Hope of reseuing the crew of 25 of the Danish schooned Ebba faded tonight. A widospread air ' and sea search failed to find any sign of the men who took to life'boats early on Mondav when the El)ba sanlt during a gale 100 iniles off the south coast of Oreenland. United States Air Foree ])lanes searched 2(5, 000 square miles before abandoning the search tonight. The coaslguard cutter Owasco will continue the search tonight but is expected fo be recalled tomorrow.
