( AUCKLAND, May 15. Christchurch players won both the major prize's when the finals of the £700 Victory golf tournament were played at the Titirangi Club's course on Saturday. R. H. Glading, of the Christchurch Club, won the £75 prize in the prof essional event l?y def eating J. 'Weir, of Grange, 5 and 3, and D. L. Woon, of the Waitikirk Club, in the amateur event, defeated F. Buckler, of Remuera, 2 and 1. Results were: — / Professional Event Semi-finals: J. Weir (Grange) beat A. E. Guy (Akarana) 1 up, R. H. Glading (Christchurch) beat James Galloway (Whangarei) at the 19th. Final: Glading beat Weir, 5 and 3. Amateur Event Semi-finals : D. L. Woon (Waitikiri) beat J. P. Ralph (Remuera) 3 and 1, F. Buckler (Remuera) beat A. R. Kitto (Wanganui) 1 up. ' 1 Final: Woon beat Buckler 2 and 1. Professional Victory Plate Semi-finals: V. O. Walker (Brisbane) beat John Galloway (Palmerston N.) 2 and 1, J. Smith, Jnr. (Invercargill) beat W. Renshaw (unattached) 2 and 1. Final: Walker beat Smith 1 up. Professional Victory Flight J. K.
