Price Fixed For Borough Council's Sections

The consent of the Land Saies Valuation Committee to the sale of sections adjacent to the Tasman Beach motor camp at £160 and £140 has been received. At the Otaki Borough Council's meeting on Wednesday night applications came forward for three more of the sections, and the. council contfented to a transfer to the applicants. Opinions were invited as to the best means of -disposing of the remaining sections, and it was felt that once the price was announced there would probably be further inquirers. Messrs Harper, Atmore and Thomson advised that the council's application to fix the prices had been heard on April 24, and that the prices fixed were in keeping with recent saies. Appreciation of the efforts of the Mayor, Mr. C. F. Atmore, was expressed and a vote of thanks accprded him.
