Pre-release showings of Roy Del Ruth's "It Happened on 5th Avenue," which he produced and directed for Allied Artists, have caused such widespread comment that the gay comedy is eagerly awaited by the theatre-goihg papao. This picture, starring Don DeFore, Ann Hardingj Charlie Ruggles, Victor Moore and Gale Storm, will be shown at the Regent Theatre. beginning today. $ Produced at a cost of 1,300#000 dollars, the picture refiects a fine combination of timeliness, comedy and pathos.
