NEW PLYMOUTH, May 11. The highway between* Taumarunui ±nd Te Ivuiti was. closed to all traffic onight followipg the collapse of part the abutments to Nock's bridge im ,-liately north of the .Okahukura .subay. Ministry of Works staff were expected to be engaged throughout the night in making repairs in an endeavour to have the highway open to motor traffie tomorrow morning. Passengers on the Railways road service bus were transhipped today and a similar arrangement will be made tomorrow morning. The bridge will be closed to heavy traffie till further notiee.
