Mr. O. H. Yates, formeiiy of Wairoa, has taken up residence at the schoolhouse, Otaki. Mr. and Mrs. R. Robin^on, of Riverbank Road, have left on a holiday visit to Hastings.^ Mr. and Mrs. G. Tester, of Tasman Beach, have returned after a five weeks' holiday spent in visiting Taupo and other plaees in the north. The death occurred last week at the Wellington Hospi'tal of Mrs. G. H. MacKenzie, a former resident of Hautere Cross, and mother of, Allison, Minnie, Frank and Wallace,
